ATC ASSESSOR / EXAMINER COURSE
Prerequisites
- Demonstrate fluency in the English language to IELTS 5.5 or above in
order to satisfy the requirements of ICAO English Level 4.
Synopsis
The Course prepares the air traffic controller for conducting assessments and examinations of competency on both students for initial ATC qualifications, as well as currently qualified air traffic controllers
Objective
After the compilation of this course, the course participants will be able to:
- Assess an integrated performance in a competency-based environment and, at the same time, evaluate the performance of separate competencies.
- Conduct assessment by gathering evidence of competent performance.
- Debrief the trainees in a manner that will aid their progress in future
Assessment
The course includes verbal questioning to check for understanding of the theory and practical role-play scenarios to assess competence as an assessor.
