ICAO 209 HUMAN FACTORS - TEAM RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (TRM)
Prerequisites
- Demonstrate fluency in the English language to IELTS 5.5 or above in order to satisfy the requirements of ICAO English Level 4.
Synopsis
This workshop provides a participant with an understanding of the concept of teams, working within teams and managing teams, and the corresponding training requirements to meet the licensing standards set by the ICAO Annex 1 (Personnel Licensing). It focuses on the disciplines of teamwork and communication, their applications and ways to improve human performance in ATS.
Objective
On completion of this course the participant will have an understanding of Team Resource Management principles, to achieve a consistent level of safety in aviation operations in accordance with ICAO Doc. 9683
Assessment
The course includes verbal questioning and a written test to check for understanding of the material
