ICAO 051 AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL BASIC INDUCTION
Prerequisites
- Hold a General Secondary Certificate or equivalent foreign certificate with a pass result of not less than 70%.
- Demonstrate fluency in the English language to IELTS 5 or above in order to satisfy the requirements of ICAO English Language Level 4;
- Hold a medical certificate as prescribed by the authority regulation in the State of licence issue
Synopsis
The ATC Basic Induction course comprises basic aeronautical knowledge subjects to prepare the participant for further training as an ATCO or to commence on-the- job training as an ATC Assistant.
Objective
On completion of this course the participant will have the required knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA’s) necessary to commence on-the- job training as an ATC Assistant for ICAO licensing purposes.
