MILITARY USE OF SPACE CAPABILITIES
The Aim of the Course
- The aim of the Military Use of Space Capabilities course is to provide
participants with an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of
space-based and space-enabled systems, and how these strengths and
weaknesses contribute to defence and security missions and tasks.
The Benefits of this Training Course
Upon completion of the Military Use of Space Capabilities course,
participants will have an understanding of the principles behind the space
environment and space weather, the orbits currently used by satellites,
and how they get there. In addition, students will graduate with the ability
to identify the roles in which space-based capabilities support terrestrial
activity and a full, applicable understanding of the command, control, and coordination of space-based activity.

The course is designed for personnel seeking greater awareness and
understanding of the use of space based and space enabled capabilities
in defence and security operations. Those who would benefit from
