FLIGHT DISPATCHER COURSE
Introduction
Flight Dispatcher training is conducted by OACC in accordance with the
provisions contained in ICAO Annex 1, ICAO Doc 7192-AN/857 Part D-3
and Oman CAA CAN 4-11.
Prerequisites
- a) Age: The candidate shall be not less than 21 years of age.
(Documents acceptable as evidence of date of birth /proof of age are as
follows:
(i) Birth Certificate issued by a municipal corporation/municipalities.
b) Proof of Educational Qualification: The applicant for Flight Dispatcher
shall have passed class 12 or an equivalent.
c) Nationality: Where an application shows nationality other than
Omani, check the copy of the passport for validity and nationality shown
on it.
d) The student shall be medically fit for duty.
e) The student shall have a minimum of ICAO English level 4 or
equivalent.
(i) Initial Training.
