ICAO 051 AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL BASIC INDUCTION

Prerequisites

  • Hold a General Secondary Certificate or equivalent foreign certificate with a pass result of not less than 70%.
  • Demonstrate fluency in the English language to IELTS 5 or above in order to satisfy the requirements of ICAO English Language Level 4;
  • Hold a medical certificate as prescribed by the authority regulation in the State of licence issue

Synopsis

  • The ATC Basic Induction course comprises basic aeronautical knowledge subjects to prepare the participant for further training as an ATCO or to commence on-the- job training as an ATC Assistant.

Objective

  • On completion of this course the participant will have the required knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA’s) necessary to commence on-the- job training as an ATC Assistant for ICAO licensing purposes.
